BurHop was designed to build dancers up, to help instill a confidence that lasts longer than an 8 count. A confidence that is carried into their careers, friendships, relationships, but most of all- the relationship they have with themselves. BurHop is a safe environment for dancers to explore their movement. It is a brave space for growth, inspiration, and appreciation for one's self. Come join the experience!

Meet Nik
Creator of BurHop, choreographer and director

Nik has been pushing people out of their comfort zones for several years now. Whether it’s helping dancers discover their worth, their beauty, their talent-  or if it’s making an audience member squirm in their seats. She is the creative force behind the brand and is excited to keep learning and bringing original, clever, and fun experiences to all. Come dance with her- she will show you that you’ve had it all along darling!

Marisa has been with BurHop for several years. She is passionate, creative, and has been dedicated to her self love journey throughout those years. She is an avid performer with Pu**y Peach, and has been known to charm the audience with her playfulness. She is a leader within the brand and is excited to be able to share with you her art, her movement, her voice. Come dance with her at a workshop!

Burhop’s foundation is built on helping others feel seen, help grow their confidence and feel sexy while doing it because we have our own experiences of feeling out of place that fuel our passion to help others. But it’s not just for the guests who come to a workshop or a performance, it has also helped me. Burhop allows me to lean into my vulnerability and encourages me to feel, even the uncomfortable parts. In a world that is focused on the go, go, go, I get to dedicate time to focus on the moment; whether that’s in a creative meeting, workshop, or performance. If you are looking to find a space where women lift each other up and can lean on the person next to you, BurHop is the place for you.

Burhop has helped me with my confidence in and outside of dance. It lets me discover so many parts of myself that I didn’t even know I had. Its a safe space, I now share with a family. I feel fully excepted and loved. I love being able to do so for others. I get to feel sexy, silly, Hot, sensual, masc, fem, and every other side of me. I get to carry burhop with me to my everyday life, social, work, friends, fam, etc . Burhop continues to teach me about myself and others. Will forever be grateful for it and I hope it does the same for you!

I’ve been a part of Burhop for a few years. You’d think at age 27, you know who you are, but Burhop has shaped me in ways I didn’t realize until now. This brand has made me own my sexy, realize I’m enough, has given me confidence when walking in a room full of people, the list goes on and on. But everyone can get a little taste of this when attending a class, workshop or show! EVERYONE needs a little Burhop in their life. Not only to dance to a unique style, but to learn more about you, feel free and fearless.

Burhop is the place where I can look at myself. I can see the person I am in the mirror and celebrate her. I am reminded what I am capable of, and I am proud of how far I’ve come. I can celebrate who I am at that very moment. I able to come face to face with my negative thoughts and disprove them. Tell them to shut up. Simply put, I come to FALL IN LOVE WITH MYSELF, because we all deserve LOVE!
